Ushna Ilyas

Solicitor 

Ushna is a Solicitor at Tyler Hoffman, situated at our recently relocated Leeds Branch.  She specialises in Criminal Defence and Road Traffic Offences. 

Ushna's journey within the firm commenced as a Paralegal in our esteemed Criminal Law department. Her remarkable dedication and commitment paved the way for her to secure a training contract, leading to her qualification as a Solicitor. 

Ushna’s daily activities involve attending at the Magistrates Courts, where her presence plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective representation of our clients. She is also a qualified Police Station Representative, representing clients throughout the country. 

In her role, she also collaborates closely with Barristers from various chambers, extending invaluable assistance to our clients during their matters at the Crown Court. 

What truly sets Ushna apart is her linguistic proficiency, with fluency in three other languages— Cantonese, Urdu, and Punjabi. These exceptional language skills enable her to establish meaningful connections and provide comprehensive assistance to clients hailing from diverse backgrounds, embodying Tyler Hoffman's commitment to accessibility and inclusivity. Ushna's multilingual capabilities enrich the client experience, further highlighting her dedication to ensuring equitable and empathetic legal representation.
